Masses and Tumors (CME)

Purpose/ Objective

Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance imaging provides unparalleled imaging for cardiac masses and tumors. An essential component of CMR cardiovascular imaging involves the use of various specific CMR modalities to assess cardiac masses and tumors. This will help orient and refresh both the new and experienced CMR imaging physicians in cardiac masses and tumors. Following this activity, learners will have a working knowledge of the specific MRI techniques to visualize the different types of tumors and be able to apply them in assessing cardiac tumors and masses. Learners will also have a working knowledge of the various tumor types as well as predisposition of certain tumor type location and anatomy.

Accreditation Statement

The Society for Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance (SCMR) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

Credit Designation Statement

The Society for Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance (SCMR) designates this enduring material for a maximum of 1.25 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit (s)™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
