![Collapse SCMR Mid-Year Meeting: Myocardial Perfusion CMR](/images/arrowup.gif) | Description:
This program will be heavily focused on how to performance and interpretation of stress CMR using a case-based learning approach along with ample opportunities to directly interpret stress CMR images on a workstation. This program is designed to help participants master how to perform stress CMR.
Physician Practice Gap:
Currently there is a lack of educational resources to prepare physicians on how to perform and interpret stress CMR. Utilizing CMR one will get more definitive, relevant, and actionable answers because a CMR exam provides comprehensive information and has superior diagnostic and prognostic power, without the need for radiation.
Needs that Underlie the Gap
There is a need to provide educational support to physicians to overcome the barrier of inadequate knowledge and skills to perform stress CMR.
DESIGNED to Change/Outcome: Following this activity, learners will develop competence by increasing their knowledge through a combination of hands-on learning, didactic lectures, panel discussions, case-based activities, and demonstration of equipment/techniques.
SCHEDULE HIGHLIGHTS:
Day 1:
-
Stress CMR 101: Including basics of interpretation, how to start a lab / program, etc.
-
Stress CMR 201: Interpreting Stress MR with complex CAD
-
Cases, cases, and more cases with audience participation
Day 2:
-
All about Quantitation techniques: physics, sequences, and cutting edge post-processing
-
The Polar Plot thickens with lots of cases, cases and more cases of myocardial blood flow
-
Novel populations, situations, and stress techniques
-
Working the work stations, opportunities to analyze stress CMR cases with multiple vendors
-
All along, meet, network and learn from the International Stars of CMR from this next-level conference!
WHY ATTEND THE CONFERENCE?
